USANA Named One of the Best Places to Work

USANA Named One of the Best Places to Work

They say you can tell a lot about a company by the way it treats its employees. So what does it say that for the fifth year in a row USANA was named one of Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work?

It says that we not only care about producing the highest-quality supplements on the market, but we care about every member of the USANA family. It says that our motto—everything we do helps you love life and live it—isn’t just words on a page, it’s words we live by. It says USANA is truly the best of the best.

So, how were we measured? Thoroughly. Companies were evaluated on how well they enable their employees to balance productivity with an active, socially and ecologically conscious lifestyle. In other words, it’s all about balance, health, and happiness. This was determined by evaluating employer questionnaires and confidential employee-satisfaction surveys.

These surveys gather information about benefits, compensation, policies, job satisfaction, environmental initiatives, and community-service programs—such as USANA’s onsite gym, basketball court, partnership with local schools, wellness program, and more. (It’s no surprise that Outside, with the help of Outdoor Industry Association and Best Companies Group, spends an entire year to determine the best of the best.)

“We make sure our employees have everything they need to lead healthy, productive lives by providing them with benefits such as a fully equipped gym, wellness consulting, and an employee café stocked with affordable, fresh food,” said Dan Macuga, USANA’s chief communications officer. “Our Associates and customers rely on us to come to work excited to do the best we can each day. Having a supportive work environment helps to motivate our employees to do just that.”

Be sure to show your friends how Outside magazine also believes we’re something special. The full list, featuring all of Outside’s 2013 Best Places to Work, is available at OutsideOnline.com. Check out the article and spread the word today!
